Fixed wheels to easily use on two track widths? Gruva accepted the challenge! In 2019 we proudly introduced the Vari-Quick wheels. Easily and quick switching from track widths without any measuring.

Introduction Multitrac adjustable wheels
Tractors are increasing in speed and power, power distribution is getting more important. Thanks to the Multitrac wheels, speed limits up to 60 km/h can be reached.

Introduction new Altrac Wheel Lift
Gruva Techniek BV has developed the Altrac wheel lift, to make sure changing the wheels can be done easily, quick but most of all: safe. In the following years, the wheel lift is modernized and further developed.

Expanding the range with Varitrac
The increasing need for adjustable wheels, which have a better durability then the already existing “nokken”-wheels, made it necessary for Gruva to start engineering something new. This resulted in the Varitrac adjustable wheels.

New management and a new core business, asked for an update of the factory.

Restart of Gruva Techniek BV
After a tough period and the bankruptcy, the name Trako disappears completely and the company goes on with the name Gruva Techniek BV. The focus is on the development and producing wheels for agriculture.

Start production wheels with Gruva
The wheels of Trako, are from now on manufactured with a new name “Gruva”. Gruva was already known as a factory of wheels for agriculture and transport in Roermond (Limburg).

Start of a sales office in France; Alco Sarl
With a sales office in France, Trako Techniek is able to serve the French market better. Alco Sarl is the go-to for wheels in the entire country.

The start of a family business
In 1965 Trako Van Luijk is funded at the Mariastraat in Cadzand, The Netherlands.
